The Fastest Bike(s) in the World
Ridley is proud to announce the launch of the Dean, an all-new time trial frame, and the new Noah.

Both were designed with a clear understanding of aerodynamics, access to the best carbon fiber technology available, and a pure desire to win the 2008 Tour de France. The desire to make the fastest bikes in the world led Ridley engineers to unveil the Ridley Aero Project.

One key element of the project is R-Flow technology. The new Dean and Noah incorporate R-Flow™ featuring fork blades and seat stays with jet foils which draw air away from the spokes, and counteract turbulence generated by the wheels. This aerodynamic effect creates a vacuum resulting in a significant reduction in wheel drag.

Another proprietary technology is R-Surface. This is a patent-pending paint technology that allows the air to cling more closely to the frame; this allows it to move smoothly around the frame and release cleanly rather than detaching early and creating additional turbulence. Wind tunnel data shows R-Surface aerodynamic paint technology to give up to a 3% reduction in drag. Already proved faster in a wind tunnel than the competition, the Dean and the Noah allow the rider to ride faster with less effort. Valuable seconds gained in the Tour time trials by Cadel Evans on the Dean, and further sprint victories on the Noah by Robby McEwen will further prove — these are the fastest bikes in the world.
