PARK TOOL TO PARTNER WITH TEAM LIVESTRONG

Park Tool has agreed to become the official supplier of tools and repair stands to Team Trek/Livestrong.
“Their mechanic expressed a strong desire to work with Park Tool based on his past experience with our product.”
Said Bill Armas, Director of Marketing. “They’ll have a strong team and shed a positive light on cycling, so it made a lot of sense for us to work with them.”
Trek is the Title sponsor of the new Under 23 team that will be captained by Taylor Phinney. Lance Armstrong and his management own this team. It will be directed by Axel Merckx and feature a talented core of riders, including Taylor Phinney and Ryan Baumann The goal of the team is to develop young American riders and to bridge the gap between junior and senior racing. Their schedule will include races in Mexico, the United States and in Europe.
Park Tool works with a large number of professional race teams and their mechanics. It is a strategy that provides an excellent proving ground and lots of good feedback.
