Milram get Nordmilch backing

Germany's largest dairy company Nordmilch said they would continue to sponsor Team Milram, the last fully-professional German cycling team.

"Following constructive discussions with our partner Velo-City GmbH, we state that the squad will start on January 1, 2009 as Team Milram," Nordmilch said in a statement.

Nordmilch said last month it was considering pulling out of cycling, which has been hit by doping scandals leading other sponsors to leave the sport. German state TV has said it will not broadcast the Tour de France next year.
